A Reform UK campaigner who was caught making racial slurs towards the Prime Minister has insisted he is “not racist”.
Reform Canvasser Speaks Out
A canvasser for Nigel Farage’s Party, Reform UK, has spoken out about his racist and homophobic rant caught on record.
Farage’s Party in Hot Water
The campaigner, Andrew Parker, has put Farage and his Party in hot water after making comments about migrants, Islam, the Prime Minister and the LGBT community.
Parker Insists He Was “Set Up”
Parker has insisted that he is not a racist and claimed he was “Set up” when he went on the rant that could topple Reform’s promising rise in the polls.
Downplaying Racism
The Reform volunteer claimed he said what he said because of the country’s “woke” mindset and insisted he was not alone.
Fighting UK’s “Woke Agenda”
According to Andrew Parker, “There’s lots of old people like me who are sick to death of this woke agenda.”
“Set up Good and Proper”
Parker claimed he was set up by Channel 4, “but on that particular day, I was set up and set up good and proper,” he said.
Parker’s Admission
Parker admitted, “It’s proper taught me a lesson – I was a total fool,” before going on to downplay his comments.
“No Racism” in Racial Slurs
“There’s no racism at all in it. I am a decent guy to be honest,” Parker said, despite making racial slurs towards Rishi Sunak.
Prime Minister Targeted
Parker called Prime Minister Rishi Sunak a racial slur while campaigning in Clacton, Essex, which is Farage’s constituency.
Parker’s Array of Division
Parker also took time out of his campaigning to voice his say on migrants crossing the Channel into Essex, the religion of Islam, and the LGBT community.
Deploying the Armed Forces
Parker asserted that the British Army should be deployed to take care of the migrant situation, using violence and terror.
Suggesting Violence
Parker insisted during the rant that the government should “get the young recruits there, with guns,” before making violent suggestions.
Targeting Migrants
The Reform UK volunteer claimed that migrants coming to the country illegally should be shot by the British Armed Forces, but he didn’t stop there.
Attacking Islam and LGBT
Parker also described the religion of Islam as a “disgusting cult” and suggested that members of the LGBT community were paedophiles.
Sunak “Hurt” by Rhetoric
The Prime Minister has admitted he feels “hurt” by the comments and blames Nigel Farage for allowing this kind of rhetoric into the Party in the first place.
Children in Focus
According to the Prime Minister, he is hurt that his daughters have to hear the racial slur in the news while Nigel Farage’s Party gains recognition across the country.
“Hurt” and “Angry” Over Comments
“It hurts and it makes me angry and I think he [Nigel Farage] has some questions to answer,” the Prime Minister said.
Farage Defends Reform
Farage has since booted the Reform UK canvasser out of the Party and insisted his comments do not reflect the wider views of the Reform.
Farage Deflects Criticism
Farage has claimed the comments were “horrible” but “not as bad” as those made by some Labour candidates about white people.
Denting Reform’s Rise
The reactions from politicians and the media could dent Reform’s sudden rise in the polls due to the Party’s affiliation with racists.
