After being adamant that there would not be a general election in May this year, Sunak told a crowd he expects to see flights take off for Rwanda this Spring.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has hinted in a speech that he wishes to deport migrants to Rwanda as soon as this Spring despite legal troubles surrounding the plan.

During a speech in Coventry, Sunak told his crowd that he is “still committed to the timeline that I set out previously, which is we aim to get a flight off in the spring.”
