Russia Escalates Tensions with Threats Against British Soldiers and German Factories Amid Increased Military Aid to Ukraine

Former Russian President Medvedev issued a grave warning to Britain and Germany after the two countries suggested ramping up support for Ukraine by potentially sending troops to the conflict.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak admitted, “People will know for a long time that we’ve been training Ukrainian citizens and soldiers,” before adding, “We’ve been doing that here in Britain, we’ve taken a lead on that and lots of other countries have joined our effort and it’s making a huge difference. We will continue to do that.”

British Defense Minister Grant Shapps hinted at a strategic shift, discussing plans to relocate their soldiers’ military training and weapon production closer to Ukrainian territory, “I was talking today about eventually getting the training brought closer and actually into Ukraine,” he said.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued a grim warning, stating that if British soldiers were involved in training Ukrainian forces, they would become “legal targets” for Russia’s military.

Medvedev also cautioned Germany against arming Ukraine with Taurus missiles, explicitly stating that German factories producing these missiles could become targets for Russian strikes.
